Getting Started

Our e-commerce service is powered by Shopify. We charge an 8% fee on gross, with fulfilment charged at cost (though quite generally fulfilment costs are squared off when the customer purchases). In real terms that means on every £1000 you make, we take £80. There is a £25/month subscription fee, but any month with revenue in excess of £1000 will have the sub waived. 

For your online store we’ll need the following:

1. Assets, this being high resolution images, videos, or anything else you would like to have incorporated into the design of your store. For instance, if you would like to use an image as the background for the store or just a specific section be sure to send a high resolution file of this to us.
   1. Please note that the image may not be fully visible to users as this depends on their screen size, typically mobile backgrounds will be slightly altered and desktop backgrounds may need to be fixed to a specific focal point in order for all screen sizes to appear the same universally.
2. Fonts, we can use any font you would like so long as it is free for commercial use or you have purchased the rights to it, these can be mixed and matched throughout the site. For instance, if you would like product headings to have a different font to the rest of the store this is easily achievable.
3. Colours, any specific colours you would like to be used throughout the store, whether this is for the background, text, borders, popups etc. Similar to fonts, these can be mixed and matched throughout the store.
4. Products, please include a detailed list of all the products you would like to have up for sale. This includes titles, descriptions, UPC/ ISRC Codes images, prices and stock.
5. If you have a specific store that you would like yours to be modelled after, whether that is your current store, one terrible* has designed in the past or another website altogether, please send us a link to this.
   1. Please note that due to some restrictions via Shopify, we may not be able to replicate the store entirely. The core aspects like the background, images, fonts will never be an issue. We'll inform you if this is the case.
